Shipping and delivery
Items purchased will be delivered via Australia Post for addresses within Australia. You can also use the click and collect option and pick up is from my studio at the rear of 172 Alma Road, North Perth. Enter the lane off Persimmon Street and look for the signs for local pick up.
For international shipping please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for a quote and payment.
For shipping within Australia, I offer flat rate shipping of $15 for small items, $20 for medium items and $30 for large items. All purchased items are carefully packed and double boxed with ecofriendly and/or recycled packaging. Ceramic items are fragile and must be carefully packaged to avoid breakages as much as possible. If you are purchasing 3 small items shipping will be $45 which I understand can be prohibitive. However, even small items must be individually boxed and packed so they are not touching. Where possible I will try to put items together and will refund any excess shipping, although it is possible that multiple purchases will arrive in separate packaging at my discretion.
Your order will be packed and shipped in 2-4 business days. Delivery times will vary depending on lodgment time and destination. Please allow 2-10 business days for delivery depending on your location within Australia.
Please note that if you are not home when your item is delivered it will be left in an appropriate place at your risk. All items are insured up to $100 for loss and damage. Additional cover for loss and damage is approximately $2.50 for each $100 or part thereof for items between $100 and $5000. If you wish to purchase additional insurance, please contact me and I will arrange this for you. If your item is damaged upon arrival, please take detailed photographs of the item and the packaging showing how it was packaged for insurance purposes and I will send you the insurance details for your claim.
If you want to order item that is out of stock please complete the notify me section on my website for that item and I will email you an invoice for payment and let you know when the item will be available. It can take me several weeks to make your item. I keep a record of all requests and payments work my way through them. If I decide not to continue to make an item I will let you know.
Handmade items and returns
All of my pieces are handmade and will have slight variations, small fissures and surface anomalies which is normal for handmade ceramics. This is not a fault or flaw and is an inevitable part of purchasing handmade ceramic art work. I will not sell an item that is not fit for purpose or has major technical flaws. Occasionally I will sell an item that is perfectly functional but may have a minor fault or flaw that is noticeable, and this will be noted and documented by photographs in the description.
